Bearing defects

Rolling element bearings are responsible for many machine failures.. allthough, bearings are designed to run for many, many years, but it is just that they are not treated correctly in most cases.

• About 10% of all bearings will run for their design lifetime.
• About 40% of bearing failures are caused by improper lubrication.
• About 30% of bearing failures are from improper mounting.
• About 20% fil for other reasons such as manufacturing defects and so on.
